Gibbins Quality Meats

We worked with Gibbins Quality Meat to create a brand that changed perceptions and allowed them to position the business as a “premium” supplier.

Gibbins Quality Meats is a family business that was founded in 1860. In a competitive, price-driven market place they were struggling to stand out. They wanted to communicate the premium quality of the meat they supply to their customers – commercial kitchens across the South West.

We worked with the managing director – the fifth generation to lead the company – to develop a brand strategy that captured Gibbins’ heritage.

We wanted the brand identity to reflect the heritage of Gibbins Quality Meat, but in a way that looked modern. A key element in our approach was commissioning a set of five illustrations, which are used to brand their fleet of delivery vehicles.
